Sangam University, an ISO certified institute, was established in 2012 as a private university and has modern facilities and infrastructure. The goal of SU is to rank among the top universities in Raj state. It has been founded by the Badri Lal Soni Charitable Trust and supported by the Sangam Group of Industries with the goal of ensuring that all societal groups can afford higher education. There are various schools at the college, including schools of engineering, management, and legal studies. School of arts and agriculture sciences are among the other branches. The list continues and includes schools for vocational studies, education, nursing, and pharmacy as well.
The university has prestigious affiliations like AICTE and UGC and in 2018 it also became a member of AIU. The university’s law school offers 5 year integrated BA LLB and 3 year LLB courses that are approved by BCI. The college also has diploma and bachelors courses in pharmacy that have their affiliation with PCI.
The management school offers BBA, MBA, B.Com, BHM, and Ph.D. in management degrees. The university's college of engineering and technology also grants B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D., and numerous other diplomas. B.Tech courses are in the fields of CS, ME, EE, AI, and Mining Engineering. The M.Tech courses are in CS, VLSI, Production, Structural, and Remote Sensing. Students can also enrol in B.Sc. in Bio, Maths, and M.Sc. in Geo-Informatics and other programs. Students can also do a Bachelor's in Vocational Studies like fashion, interior, and graphic design meanwhile nursing school offers a diploma in health assistant. The agriculture sciences school has B.Sc Hons and a Ph.D. in agriculture.
The university has international affiliations with National Taipei University, Kyungdong University, Oklahoma State University, and Yes bud University. To enable students to create a potential career path the university has collaborated with Red Hat technologies, Oracle, and CISCO. The university has a centre for mentoring, training, placement and well-structured career counselling, personal counselling for students. Professional and student organisations encourage student engagement in skill-based activities.

Placements are good, and more than 65 percent of students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 lakhs per annum, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 lakhs per annum. Many MNCs, including IBM, have visited. About 10 percent of students got internships. Lecturers are very strict and hold Ph.D. degrees, demonstrating good knowledge in teaching.
